These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Lovus platform ("Lovus", "we", "platform") by you ("user"). By accessing or using Lovus, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. What Lovus is

Lovus is an online search and comparison service that gathers information about care homes and long-term care institutions for the elderly (ILPIs) across Brazil, letting you search, compare structure, prices and availability, save favorites, and contact listed institutions directly.

Lovus is not a care institution, does not provide healthcare services, and is not a party to any agreement between you and a listed institution. Our role is limited to presenting information and facilitating contact. The decision to hire, the terms, prices and quality of the services provided are the sole responsibility of the chosen institution. We always recommend visiting in person and verifying the documentation and regulatory standing of any institution before signing any contract.

2. Registration and account

To save favorites, build comparisons or contact institutions, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide truthful, complete and up-to-date information, and are responsible for keeping your access credentials confidential and for all activity carried out on your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, violate these Terms, or are used fraudulently or abusively, with prior notice whenever possible.

3. Information about listed institutions

We strive to keep the platform's information accurate and up to date, but data such as price, availability and structure are provided by the institutions themselves or collected from public sources and may change without notice. Lovus does not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness or completeness of this information and recommends always confirming directly with the institution before making any decision.

4. Acceptable use

By using Lovus, you agree not to:

• Scrape data from the platform in bulk without prior written authorization;
• Use the platform for fraudulent, defamatory or unlawful purposes;
• Attempt to access restricted areas, bypass security controls, or interfere with the platform's operation;
• Impersonate third parties or provide false information when contacting listed institutions.

5. Intellectual property

The Lovus brand, layout, code and other original elements of the platform are owned by Lovus and protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, copy or commercially exploit any part of the platform without express authorization.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lovus is not liable for: (a) decisions made based on information available on the platform; (b) the quality, safety or regulatory compliance of services provided by listed institutions; (c) temporary unavailability of the platform due to maintenance, technical failures or reasons beyond our control; or (d) indirect, incidental damages or lost profits arising from use or inability to use the platform.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to the platform or applicable law. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable notice; continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, without prejudice to other applicable legal remedies.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Brazilian law. Any disputes will be submitted to the user's domicile court, as provided by the Consumer Protection Code, when applicable.
